Aiarty Image Matting

For product images and compositions where the quality of a subject’s cutout matters. Aiarty Image Matting removes image backgrounds with AI matting models built for different subjects: AlphaStandard for soft, semi-transparent edges such as hair, glass or veils, AlphaEdge for crisp outlines, EdgeClear for fine detail and SolidMat for solid objects. Edges can be refined by hand, a new colour or image background placed inside the program, and large batches processed at once. A clean cutout is more than a hard outline around an object. Hair, soft edges and semi-transparent material may need a gradual transition between the subject and its new background. Matting tools help work on that boundary, which is useful for product photography, portraits and graphic compositions. After extracting the subject, you can evaluate how the edge behaves against a different colour or image rather than judging the cutout only on its original background. Automatic selection is a starting point, and difficult areas may require refinement. Inspect the result at full size, especially around fine details and transparent surfaces. The quality of the source photograph affects what can be separated convincingly. Keep the original and use an output format appropriate to whether the finished image needs to retain transparency.
