Overview
For preparing AVCHD camera material for playback or editing in another application. Bigasoft AVCHD Converter converts AVCHD camcorder footage (MTS, M2TS, MOD, TOD) from Canon, JVC, Panasonic, Sony and other HD camcorders into MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, MKV, WebM and other formats, or into HD video for editing software. Clips can be trimmed, cropped, merged and given effects or subtitles before conversion. AVCHD footage from a camera may need preparation before another application or player can use it conveniently. The converter provides a route from that source footage to an output profile chosen for the destination. This is useful when a collection of camera clips must enter a different editing or playback workflow. The output format should be selected around the receiving application, not merely around a familiar file extension. Keep camera originals and test one representative clip, including sound and image proportions, before converting a full collection. Conversion settings can affect quality and file size, and they do not turn the application into a full video-editing suite.
