Prepare external storage as a bootable Windows workspace for compatible computers. EaseUS OS2Go clones your installed Windows 11, 10, 8 or 7, with its programs, settings and files, onto a USB drive or external disk to create a portable Windows To Go workspace that boots on other computers with BIOS or UEFI. It works with USB drives that are not certified for Windows To Go and can also create a Windows installation USB. Rather than rebuilding a familiar desktop on every machine, the portable-workspace approach places a Windows environment on external storage. Applications, settings and working files can stay with that environment, making it useful for testing, temporary access or carrying a configured workspace between computers that support the required boot arrangement. Creation involves selecting the Windows source and the external destination, then preparing the drive for boot use. After creation, the destination computer must be configured to start from that device. USB performance influences the experience because operating-system and application activity will use the external connection. This is a workspace-creation utility, not a Windows license or a promise that every PC or Mac can boot the result. Check firmware, processor architecture and device-driver compatibility for the actual destination. Back up existing contents on the target drive before preparation, and make sure you have the separate Windows and application licenses required for the intended use.
