Overview
Combine presets with local adjustments and compositing tools to change an image’s appearance. Emotion Projects Pro 1.22 (Franzis EMOTION projects professional) gives photos a deliberate mood. A mood assistant and preset looks set the starting point, Smart Filters and an optimisation assistant refine tone and colour, and selective drawing applies an effect only where you paint it. It opens RAW files, processes batches and also runs as a plug-in for Photoshop and Lightroom. A practical workflow begins with a source photograph and an overall treatment, then moves to more selective refinement. Presets can provide a starting direction, while local adjustments allow parts of the image to be handled differently. Compositing tools provide another way to combine visual material rather than treating the whole photograph as one indivisible effect. It is a still-image editor with post-processing and local-correction tools; despite the Emotion name, it is not a video-animation application. Keep the original photograph and save edited output separately so that a treatment can be revised later. Version 1.22 is an older release; check its plug-in and operating-system compatibility with your editing setup.
