MacX MediaTrans

Move selected photos, music and videos between a Mac and an iOS device. MacX MediaTrans transfers photos, videos, music, books and voice memos between an iPhone or iPad and a Mac in both directions without iTunes sync erasing existing tracks. It backs up iPhone photos, converts HEIC photos to JPG and exports them as JPG, PNG or BMP, and manages music playlists on the device. Connect the iPhone or iPad to the Mac, authorize the connection where required and select the media category to manage. The workflow is intended for choosing particular photos, music or video rather than treating the mobile device as an unrestricted folder of files. This can help move a photo selection to the computer, carry media onto a device or maintain a more deliberate organization of the content being transferred. Reviewing the selected items before copying is useful when the device has limited free space or when only a portion of a large collection is needed. MacX MediaTrans runs on a Mac and is not a PC-to-PC application migration utility. Check the supported macOS and iOS versions for the installed build, and verify the resulting media on both sides before deleting an original or assuming the transfer is a complete device backup.
