Affinity Designer 1.10.6 is Serif's version-1 vector design application for illustration, logos, icons and interface work. The Designer persona provides Pen and Node tools, boolean operations, gradients, artboards, symbols and constraints; the Pixel persona adds raster painting and retouching in the same document; and the Export persona slices assets to PNG, SVG, PDF and other formats. Vector shapes are useful when artwork needs to remain editable and scale to different output sizes. A logo, icon, diagram or graphic layout can be built from curves, shapes and text rather than being painted entirely as pixels. Keeping these elements separate makes it easier to revise proportions, colours and typography while the design develops. The workflow suits graphic projects that may need several versions for digital use and printed material. This is a version-1 release of Affinity Designer and does not include later Affinity versions. Version-1 licences are platform-specific, so the key activates only on the platform shown in the specifications. Check the formats used by collaborators and preserve a compatible copy when exchanging files between releases.
