Ashampoo Internet Accelerator 3

For reviewing supported legacy connection settings with a clear before-and-after comparison. Ashampoo Internet Accelerator 3 analyses Windows internet settings and optimises them with one click, while advanced users can change each setting by hand. It includes a connection speed test, optimisation for Internet Explorer and Firefox, an Internet Cleaner for browsing traces and a Hosts File Checker against redirects. It cannot increase the speed purchased from an internet provider. Windows networking and browser behaviour depend on settings that are often spread across different interfaces. Internet Accelerator presents selected controls together and offers automatic adjustments alongside manual choices. A connection measurement can provide a point of comparison when investigating whether a change has helped. This is relevant to an older supported system where the user wants a structured way to review those settings rather than change them individually in several places. Treat the program as a legacy configuration utility. Some browser-related functions were designed around older browser generations, and compatibility should be checked with the actual system. Changes cannot create bandwidth beyond the internet service or remove a limitation elsewhere in the network. Record the starting configuration and compare results under similar conditions instead of assuming every suggested adjustment will be beneficial.
