Backup4all Lite 2023

For straightforward mirror backups of selected files to an appropriate local or network destination. Backup4all Lite 2023 makes mirror backups of selected files and folders, either as a plain copy or compressed into standard ZIP files (ZIP64, no 2 GB limit) with optional AES-256 encryption. Backups go to local drives, network locations or removable media such as USB drives, and filters decide which files are included. Full, incremental and differential backup types and cloud or FTP destinations are reserved for the Standard and Professional editions. A mirror backup keeps a copy of selected files in a chosen destination. File selection and filtering determine what belongs in the job, which is useful when only certain working folders need protection. Local, external and network destinations provide different practical arrangements depending on where the data should remain accessible. This fits a straightforward file-copy protection workflow where the focus is a usable copy of selected material rather than a full system image. Lite is deliberately narrower than the higher Backup4all editions. It does not include the incremental and differential backup types or the cloud destinations of those editions. Test a sample restore before relying on a backup job. A mirror’s update behaviour should be understood before depending on it as a historical archive.
