Overview
Make photo corrections and build creative effects using selections, adjustments and image-editing tools. Photofiltre Studio 11 is a Windows image editor for photo correction and small design jobs. It works with layers, blending modes and transparency, masks, automatic-shape and lasso vector selections, a large set of filters and 8BF plug-ins, and applies the same edits to many images through batch processing. A practical edit begins with the part of the picture that needs attention. Use selections to limit a change, adjust the appearance of the image and compare the result with the starting point. Working selectively can preserve useful detail while improving a particular area, whereas applying every effect globally can change parts of the photograph that were already satisfactory. Keep an original copy and save the edited image separately, especially when experimenting with effects that are difficult to reverse later. The best result comes from selecting changes that improve the intended image rather than applying every available effect.
