Overview
For creators whose 3D work spans surface detail, material creation and asset presentation. Adobe Substance 3D Collection is Adobe's plan of desktop apps for 3D texturing and materials: Substance 3D Painter for painting textures on 3D models, Designer for building procedural materials, Sampler for turning photos into materials, Stager for arranging and rendering scenes and Modeler for sculpting in 3D, plus downloads from the Substance 3D Assets library within the plan's monthly allowance. Different stages of a 3D project call for different tools. Texture painting applies surface detail to a model, material authoring builds the appearance used by those surfaces, and scene preparation places assets into a setting for presentation. The collection approach is useful when an artist’s work moves between these stages rather than stopping at a single texture or isolated model. It can support product visualisation, game-asset preparation and other 3D content workflows. This is a one-month Substance 3D Collection plan. Each Substance application has its own operating-system and GPU requirements, and asset downloads are subject to the plan’s allowance. The collection does not include other Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop or Illustrator.
