Overview
Protect selected files with automatic backups and recover earlier saved versions when needed. Genie Timeline Home backs up your files continuously to a local or external drive after a three-step setup, keeping earlier versions of each file. Timeline Explorer lets you browse the backup by date and restore a file as it was, and a disaster-recovery disc helps bring the system back if Windows fails. The Home edition has no backup encryption and no network-drive target. After choosing the files to protect and a suitable destination, the backup workflow maintains saved copies as work changes. The timeline view helps approach recovery from a practical question: which earlier state of the file is needed? This is useful after an accidental edit, deletion or other mistake affecting selected data. Automatic protection reduces the need to remember a manual copy at the end of each work session. It is particularly helpful for documents and other frequently changing files, provided the backup destination remains available and the selected folders actually include the important material. A backup is only useful if it can be recovered, so review job status and try restoring a sample file. Keep the destination independent of the source where possible. Home and Pro editions differ in advanced recovery and management functions, and cloud storage is not part of this license.

Global means we sell this key without a region lock. The publisher can still restrict use in some countries under its own terms.
Lifetime means the license does not expire. It does not mean the publisher still updates or supports this version — that can end earlier.
