Clean up a photograph by selecting unwanted elements for removal. inPixio Photo Eraser 10 removes unwanted people, objects, dates and blemishes from photos: paint over the area and it is filled in from the surroundings. A clone tool copies texture by hand for tricky spots, and basic crop and export tools finish the picture. Select the unwanted element and let the retouching process use the surrounding image to fill or blend the affected area. This works best when the selection is accurate and the nearby texture offers enough information for a convincing result. A small distraction in a simple background is different from a large object covering important detail. The tool is useful for cleaning up travel pictures, personal images or other photographs that contain an unwanted mark or element. Processing a few smaller regions can provide more control than selecting a large complicated area at once. Review the result at normal viewing size as well as at full resolution. Keep the original and save the retouched version separately. Object removal is an image-editing operation, not a guarantee that every background can be reconstructed invisibly.
