RBSoft Easy Disk Catalog Maker

Index the contents of disks and removable media so you can search for stored files without browsing every device. RBSoft Easy Disk Catalog Maker catalogues the contents of CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs and other drives so you can find a file without inserting every disc. Add whole disks, selected folders or single files; the search goes through a million records in seconds, and the catalogue keeps image previews of media files and text previews of TXT and NFO files. Create an index of a disk’s contents, then use the catalogue to search for a file or identify the medium that contains it. The index provides a view of what was present when the catalogue was created or updated. This can reduce the need to connect and browse every disk individually when looking for an archived project or document. A catalogue is not a backup of the file contents. Finding an entry tells you where to look, but the original medium still needs to be available and readable to use the file. Update the index after changes so that the recorded contents remain useful, and give media clear names that can be recognized later.
