VMware vRealize Suite 2019 is a cloud-management suite for overseeing virtual infrastructure. Its operations and log-analysis tools help administrators examine resource use, investigate events and maintain visibility across managed environments. Automation capabilities vary by suite edition. Operations analysis and log investigation address complementary questions. Metrics help show how resources are behaving, while recorded events provide detail about what the systems reported. Used together, they give an administrator a more useful starting point for diagnosing an infrastructure issue than either a single chart or an isolated message. Where the licensed suite contains automation, provisioning workflows can add a repeatable way to deliver infrastructure services. Not every suite edition includes it: the 2019 Standard packaging, for example, focuses on operations and logs rather than supplying the Automation component. vRealize Suite is the management layer and does not include a vSphere compute licence. Check the component versions and their deployment prerequisites before installation; the suite's components are deployed mainly as virtual appliances and managed through a web browser.
