Its virtual drive mounts archives and ISO, BIN and NRG images as a drive letter, so their contents can be used without extracting or burning them. Choose an archive format that suits the recipient or destination, then verify that the result can be opened before removing any source material. The product family also supports mounting certain archives or disk images as a virtual drive, providing another way to access their contents. Creating an archive and mounting an image are different workflows, so the appropriate operation depends on the task. Version 5 should be matched to the required archive formats and the intended operating system. Check available disk space, and remember that an archive password is separate from the application licence. Test the finished archive before removing source material. A compressed package is not an independent backup when it remains on the same storage device as the originals.
