Boz Digital Labs Imperial Delay VST is a delay with six modes (stereo, swapped, two mono and two ping-pong), free, tempo-synced or tap timing from 0.1 ms to 10 seconds, Drive for saturation, Color and Smear for the tone of the repeats, modulation, a 2–16 voice chorus, pitch shift, width and ducking that keeps repeats out of the way of the dry signal. Delay repeats can provide rhythm, depth or an audible effect of their own. Feedback determines how repeats continue, while tone and other processing controls change how they develop. The wet balance decides how strongly the effect appears beside the original performance. This lets the same processor serve a subtle vocal space, a pronounced rhythmic echo or a more experimental sound-design role. Listen to how the repeats interact with the tempo and with other instruments. Heavy feedback or processing can obscure the original part, so judge the effect in context and watch the output level. The plug-in requires a compatible host; check the available plug-in formats and operating-system support before installing.
