It creates two voices shifted up and down by 1–20 cents, delayed by 20–150 ms and spread across the stereo field with the Width control; high- and low-pass filters shape only the wet signal, and separate wet and dry knobs set the blend. Very small pitch differences between processed and original signals can make a source feel wider or thicker. Frequency selection helps decide which part of the sound receives that treatment, and wet/dry blending controls how strongly it joins the original. This is useful for exploring vocal thickness or adding width to an instrument while keeping the untreated performance available as the reference. Micro-pitch shifting is an effect, not a promise of automatic vocal tuning. Check the result in the full mix and in mono where relevant, because spatial processing can behave differently across playback systems. The host, operating system and plug-in build must be compatible, particularly when using an older release on newer hardware.
