Boz Digital Labs Pan Knob VST pans with more than level alone: Crossover mode pans only the high frequencies for more natural headphone imaging, Delay mode adds small timing offsets, and Pan and Balance modes handle mono or stereo sources, with a choice of pan laws and a mono-compatibility check. Panning is part of arranging a mix: moving a source changes how it relates to other instruments and how space is perceived. A dedicated control is useful when the desired behaviour goes beyond moving the host’s ordinary pan knob. Listening on both speakers and headphones helps reveal whether the placement feels balanced and whether an important element has become too isolated on one side. Keep the plug-in’s level behaviour in mind when comparing settings, and check mono playback where it matters to the intended distribution. A compatible host is required.
