Boz Digital Labs Sasquatch Kick Machine 2 VST reinforces kick drums with three blendable controls: Oomph for low-end body, Click for attack and Dry for the original sound. It adds high- and low-pass filters with sidechain modes, selectable trigger modes including MIDI triggering, A/B comparison and lock modes. A kick drum contributes both a short attack and lower-frequency body. Changing their balance can help the part read differently in an arrangement without replacing the entire performance. The processor is useful when exploring whether a kick needs more weight, a clearer leading edge or a different relationship with the bass.
