GiliSoft File Lock Pro

Encryption uses AES-256, and files can be packed into encrypted GFL or portable EXE packages that open with a password on another computer. The product family offers controls that can hide content, restrict reading or writing and protect files through encryption-related workflows. Those actions serve different purposes. Hiding an item changes its visibility, while access controls determine how it may be used; encrypted storage adds a separate protection layer. Choose the operation that matches the actual problem and test it on sample material before applying it to an important collection. Protection does not replace backup. Keep an independent copy where appropriate and retain the credentials needed to open protected content. A lost password or an incorrectly applied restriction can interrupt legitimate access as well as unwanted access.
