Overview
Check the host licensing requirements before combining the virtualization, management and storage components named in this set. This bundle combines vCenter Server 8 Standard, vSAN 8 Enterprise Plus and vSphere Hypervisor ESXi 8. VMware vCenter Server 8 Standard provides centralized ESXi host and virtual-machine management. vSAN 8 Enterprise Plus provides clustered storage and virtual-machine storage policies. vSphere Hypervisor ESXi 8 provides the server virtualization layer for running guest operating systems. The free Hypervisor component is standalone: it cannot join vCenter Server and does not make this set an integrated vCenter/vSAN deployment. For centralized management, the ESXi hosts need compatible paid vSphere licenses. Before building the environment, identify the host hardware, storage architecture and management network, and check the prerequisites of each component. Workload capacity and resilience depend on the design and available resources. vCenter Server Standard manages ESXi hosts licensed with a paid vSphere edition, provided their versions are compatible. Guest operating systems and any components not listed in the product name are licensed separately.
Features
- vCenter Server 8 Standard

Global means we sell this key without a region lock. The publisher can still restrict use in some countries under its own terms.
Lifetime means the license does not expire. It does not mean the publisher still updates or supports this version — that can end earlier.
