FastStone Image Viewer 7.5

Browse photo folders and prepare images with viewing, comparison and basic editing tools. FastStone Image Viewer 7.5 is a Windows image browser, converter and editor. It compares up to four images side by side, shows full-screen EXIF data, removes red-eye, resizes, crops and adjusts colour, rotates JPEGs losslessly, converts and renames files in batches and builds slideshows with more than 150 transition effects. The browser-oriented workflow begins with a folder of photographs. Open an image, compare it with neighboring files and decide which pictures need adjustment or conversion. Basic cropping, resizing and color tools allow useful preparation work without moving every image into a more complex photo-editing environment. This suits everyday collection review: selecting pictures from a shoot, checking alternate versions or preparing copies for sharing. Image conversion can also help when the receiving application expects a different format, although the output settings should be chosen with the purpose and quality requirements in mind. Keep original files separate when applying changes or converting a batch. Supported formats, camera files and editing behavior depend on the installed release, so current format support should not be assumed for version 7.5. FastStone Image Viewer is free for personal and educational use; a registered license is required for commercial use.
