FastStone Capture 9.3

Create annotated screenshots and screen recordings for documentation or software demonstrations. FastStone Capture 9.3 captures anything on a Windows screen: a window, an object, a menu, the full screen, a rectangle or freehand region, or a scrolling page. The built-in editor adds text, arrows, highlights and watermarks, and the screen recorder saves video with microphone and speaker audio. A screen magnifier, ruler and colour picker are included. For a written explanation, select the window or region that matters, capture it and add visual guidance such as an arrow, highlight or short note. A scrolling capture can preserve content that does not fit in a single visible window. This makes the tool useful for support conversations, process documents and feedback on software interfaces. Screen recording covers situations where movement or a sequence of actions is more informative than one still image. Capture a short workflow, include the appropriate audio and save the result for someone else to replay. Still-image annotation and video recording are complementary ways to explain what happened on screen. Choose a capture method suited to the application and verify readable output at the final size. The older 9.3 release should not be assumed to contain additions from current releases, including newer recording formats or capture functions. Check the exact installed version before troubleshooting registration or expecting a particular feature.
