The process also involves practical image checks: alignment matters, and subjects that moved between exposures can create ghosting that needs attention. Version 6.3 includes the core Photomatix HDR workflow. A good result starts with suitable source photographs; processing cannot compensate for every problem in the capture. Compare the image with the intended scene and avoid pushing contrast or detail merely for its own sake. Keep the original exposures so that the rendering can be revisited with different settings later.
