Solid PDF Tools 10

Create searchable documents and prepare PDF/A output for document-management workflows. Solid PDF Tools 10 scans paper to searchable PDF and PDF/A for archiving, validates PDF/A files, and converts PDFs to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RTF, HTML, XML and text. Selected text, tables or images can be extracted, tables from several pages combined into one Excel sheet, and many PDFs converted or merged in a batch. The product family combines conversion tasks with PDF/A preparation. For example, content may need to be moved into an editable document, a table may need reuse in a spreadsheet, or scanned material may need a searchable representation. Each result should be checked against the source, because successful processing does not guarantee that text recognition, table structure or page layout is perfect. PDF/A is relevant to archiving, but an organization’s requirements still determine what is acceptable. Validate the output against those requirements rather than assuming every PDF is automatically suitable for long-term storage. Keep the original documents and review recognized text before relying on it. This is version 10; integrations and services added in later releases are not included.
