Create and play synthesizer sounds with modulation and integrated effects. HY-Plugins HY-POLY is a polyphonic subtractive synthesizer plug-in with modulation and built-in effects. Oscillators and filters create the sound, while MIDI processing and audio effects help shape playable patches for music production. Start with the oscillator sound, shape its frequency balance through the filters and use modulation to determine how the tone changes during a note or phrase. This provides a direct sound-design path from a simple source toward basses, leads, chords or more animated textures. MIDI effects work on the note information entering the sound engine, while audio effects process the resulting sound. Keeping those roles distinct makes the patch easier to understand: a change to the note pattern is different from adding space, movement or coloration after synthesis. Modulation connects these elements into a more expressive instrument. Load HY-POLY as an instrument in a compatible host and route MIDI notes to it. If there is no sound, check the input, voice settings and audio output before changing the patch. The vendor has full and reduced free versions, so verify the registered edition rather than assuming their voice and effect capabilities are identical.
